Physical Education

Each class has one 60-minute lesson of Physical Education a week, plus an extra hour of combined sport with P-2s participating together and Years 3-6 participating together. 

Our PE program is driven by the Victorian Curriculum standards and incorporates a range of in house events, such as Swimming, Athletics, Cross Country and other sports, as well as interschool opportunities across a variety of sports and settings. 

Students begin with the explicit teaching of fundamental movement skills and then progress to applying these skills in game situations. The skills and games increase in complexity as students develop.  This program also includes a focus on Health and Wellbeing, as well as team work and our school values.
